Amazing Sunset tours Key Largo

Island Ventures has amazing Sunset Boat Tours to witness the incredible sunsets in Key Largo. Just you and your group on our boat.
Route
Our Sunset Boat Tours depart around an hour prior to sunset from our dock at the Pilot House Marina. We travel out to sea for about a mile then into South creek to get to Key Largo Sound. On through the Marvin Adams water way right under the US1! You will be able to see all the old coral formations fossilized into the sides of the cut. It is also a great way to see the Beautiful houses that line the waterway.

We travel out onto the bay and up by Gilberts resort. Next to the bridge into Key Largo where we often see Dolphins playing in the fading sunshine.
We continue out in the bay where we watch the sun to set as we travel back through Adams cut, there is no better view than out on the water!
You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages for your trip and we will have a cooler on board to keep things chilled!
The whole tour takes around 1 1/2 hours and leaves the dock around an hour prior to sunset. Times vary for departures for our Sunset Boat Tours but you can check the time of sunset by clicking this link.

Sunset Boat Tours — Frequently Asked Questions
- What time does the tour depart?
- We depart approximately one hour before sunset. Exact times vary through the season — check tonight's sunset time here and subtract an hour. We're at Pilot House Marina, slip 5–6.
- When do you run sunset tours?
- October through March only. During summer months the sun sets too late in the evening for the tour to be practical. Our Eco Boat Tours run year-round if you're visiting in warmer months.
- Can we bring food and drinks?
- Yes — you're welcome to bring your own food and beverages. We have a cooler on board to keep things chilled. It's a popular choice to bring a bottle of wine and snacks for a private celebration.
- Is it suitable for children?
- Absolutely. The tour is on calm inshore waters and is perfect for all ages. It's one of our most popular choices for family groups and special occasions.
- What's the price and group size?
- $550 for the entire boat, up to 12 people. It's a private charter — no other groups will join you. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
- What if it's cloudy?
- Even on cloudy evenings the light on the water is beautiful. We only cancel if conditions are unsafe. We've rarely had to cancel a sunset tour — the Florida Keys are one of the sunniest places in the US.
